Marshfield Completes New Model High School
MARSHFIELD, Mass. — The Marshfield community officially cut the ribbon on a new 267,500-square-foot high school facility on Aug. 8. The three-story building will serve more than 1,300 students from nine surrounding communities, is 60,000 square feet larger than its predecessor. The design aims for LEED Gold, and was based on those of other schools built recently in the region, allowing the project to benefit from the state’s Model School reimbursement program.

Trenton Central High School Slated for Reconstruction
TRENTON, N.J. — The aging and dilapidated Trenton Central High School is now on track for replacement. Gov. Chris Christie has given his support for the project, and was seconded by a unanimous vote from the Trenton School Board on Jan. 27.
Baltimore City Public Schools Plan 10-Year Investment
BALTIMORE — In November, Baltimore City Public Schools’ CEO Andres Alonso unveiled a $2.4 billion, 10-year plan to bring the district’s school buildings up to 21st century standards. The plan, 21st Century Buildings for Our Kids: Baltimore City Public Schools’ Proposed 10-Year Plan Recommendations, is the single largest public investment ever in the school system.
