Dave Hubka
EUA recently announced that Dave Hubka joined the firm as a sustainability practice leader. Hubka has more than 25 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry and is a globally recognized expert in sustainable building practices. He will help lead and advance EUA’s sustainability-related efforts.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Hubka spent the first decade of his career as a mechanical engineer, designing building systems. Most recently, he provided consulting to worldwide companies for designing, building and operating sustainable buildings. He contributed to several EUA projects during that time.
“Dave will bring inspirational leadership in sustainability to EUA,” said EUA President Kristin Dufek. “He has an excellent reputation in the industry, and he will enhance our capabilities to continue making great decisions for our clients, projects and industry as a whole.”
Hubka joins an established team of sustainability professionals at EUA, including accredited architects, engineers and designers who guide clients through various green building rating systems and programs. EUA participates in the American Institute of Architects 2030 Commitment, a national network of firms committed to offsetting carbon emissions by 2030.
“I believe sustainability begins at the start of design and carries throughout the entire lifecycle of a project; at EUA and together with this team, I look forward to delivering thoughtful design solutions for our clients,” said Hubka.
