Travis Leissner
Travis Leissner, AIA, joined Hoefer Wysocki, an interdisciplinary architecture and design firm, as vice president. Based in the firm’s Dallas office, he brings a holistic perspective to the firm’s respective healthcare, educational and urban design projects. His individual approach inspires development of health, wellness and new-collar workforces, an emphasis on collaboration and connection on campus environments in communities and for developer-led mixed-use designs to the firm. With more than 25 years of experience, Leissner’s focus is at the crossroads of healthcare and education, and recently on wellness and active-aging environments. Prior to joining Hoefer Wysocki, Leissner served as regional practice area leader for education and health and wellness markets at Gensler where he led and participated in design solutions. As vice president at CannonDesign, Leissner expanded the firm’s brand in Texas with a primary focus in the health and education practices. Prior to his involvement with those organizations, Leissner was with other national firms as well as a founding partner of a healthcare-focused design firm. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University in 1989.
