Kyle Peterson

HMC Architects’ Managing Principal Kyle Peterson, AIA, LEED AP, DBIA has successfully completed the Design-Build Institute of America’s comprehensive education, training, and certification testing program to achieve the design-build industry’s designation as a nationally certified Design-Build Professional.

As the managing principal of the firm’s San Diego office, Peterson is responsible for the studio’s strategic direction and overall performance. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, Peterson received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2000 and joined HMC in 2001. Since then, he has earned an exceptional reputation with the clients he serves in the firm’s education and civic markets. Over the past five years his focus has included management and development of large Pre–K-12 and civic projects.
