Timothy McGrath
Timothy McGrath, AIA, REFP, recently joined Wold Architects and Engineers’ Palatine, Ill., office as design principal. McGrath brings more than 35 years of experience with a special focus on educational design. He has been instrumental in creating many notable school buildings, from K-12 to higher education and specialty learning environments. His work includes the LEED-certified Lake Bluff Elementary School, Yale Center for Molecular Medicine, Wake Forest Graduate Business & Law School, NIU-Holmes Student Center and many others. He is a Recognized Educational Facility Planner and belongs to the Illinois Association of School Business Officials. McGrath studied architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles.
