Yolonda Lankford
Kwame Foundation has named Yolonda Lankford as its new executive director. The Kwame Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization founded by Kwame Building Group CEO and Chairman Tony Thompson, providing mentoring and scholarship opportunities for youth in underprivileged communities. Prior to joining Kwame Foundation, Lankford worked with the St. Louis Cardinals’ Cardinal Care and the Antwan Moore Memorial Scholarship fund. She has served on the Herbert Hoover’s Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors, and was chairperson for the St. Louis children’s charity 2000 Feet Inc. Prior to moving to Saint Louis, she was the director of high school relations for Heald College in Stockton, Calif. and the campus director for Humphreys College in Modesto, Calif.
