Zachary Goodman

Noll & Tam Architects recently welcomed Zachary Goodman as Education Practice Leader, to manage its growing K-12 education sector. He is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional with more than 25 years of experience. Prior to joining Noll & Tam, his recent project experience includes three new STEAM classroom buildings for the Hayward Unified School District, comprehensive District-wide improvements for the Lagunitas School District, and a new gymnasium, multi-purpose building, and classroom buildings for the San Mateo-Foster City Unified School District. He was also the project architect for the award-winning Lake Merritt Master Plan and the LEED Gold Certified Lake Merritt Municipal Boathouse. For the last 20 years, Goodman has specialized in K-12 school projects and is recognized for his ability to communicate effectively with clients and users and leverage bond funds to build much needed new and repurposed space for public schools. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and has been a California licensed architect since 1992.

At Noll & Tam, Goodman is currently leading the Education for Change Public Schools’ Achieve Academy design-build project in Oakland and a number of projects for the San Jose-Evergreen Community College District. With his expansive portfolio of public school projects and his firm management experience, he is a strong addition to the Noll & Tam team.
