Christian Owens

VLK Architects recently shared the news that Christian Owens AIA NCARB LEED AP BD+C will be joining the firm as principal–education design practice leader. With two decades of experience helping clients create meaningful spaces that make a difference within their communities, Owens has led the design for a variety of building types and scales, ranging from educational and healthcare facilities, to commercial and community institutional, to athletic complexes and airport airside infrastructures throughout the world. As Principal-Education Design Practice Leader for the firm, he will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the firm’s design teams and their projects, steering initiatives to continually innovate and improve its design processes in educational practice, cultivating firm culture, and building client relationships across Texas. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University, Owens is driven by his desire to contribute to, influence, and change approaches to the built environment.
