Sarah Gardner
VLK Architects has announced that Sarah Gardner AIA, NCARB, has been promoted to the position of architecture director for the Fort Worth office. In this role, Gardner will manage the daily operations of the architectural unit in the Fort Worth office and be directly responsible for implementing strategies and procedures to ensure the firm continues to produce the highest quality designs. In addition to transitioning to Architecture Director, she has also been promoted to Associate.
With a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from Louisiana Tech, Sarah Gardner lettered four years on the Louisiana Tech softball team and was the first student in LTU history to earn an architectural degree while playing a Division I sport. In her five years at VLK, she earned her license to practice architecture and a National Council of Architectural (NCARB) certification. She has worked on many of VLK’s most notable projects such as Arlington ISD’s Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center and the district’s Agricultural Science Center, Allen ISD’s STEAM Center, Denton ISD’s New Denton High School as well as Guyer High School Athletic Additions and Renovations project, and Sherman ISD’s new Sherman High School.
