Janet Lively

Architecture and engineering firm Schmidt Associates recently welcomed Janet Lively, CPSM, as an associate and business development manager in its Louisville, Ky., office.

With more than 25 years of business development, client relationship, and marketing experience, Lively fuses practical experience with a strategic, big-picture approach to provide tangible value to clients and partners.

Her career has spanned the industries of architecture, engineering, multi-family and residential real estate development, marketing, and management. She most recently served as vice president of marketing and business development at GC Schaefer. She also sits on the board of directors for the Kentucky Derby Festival, Norton Healthcare Foundation, and GLI Health Enterprises Network; the board of trustees for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Foundation as fundraising chair; and is a Governor-appointed member of the Judicial Conduct Commission for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In January, Schmidt Associates merged with Louisville design and planning firm Arrasmith, Judd, Rapp, Chovan (AJRC), now known as Arrasmith, a Schmidt Associates Company. Lively will work closely with this Kentucky team across the firm’s six design studios: healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, workplace, community, and lifestyle.
